INTERVIEW WITH CARL ROBINSON

Having lived in the Sutherland Shire since he was six weeks old, Carl cannot imagine wanting to live anywhere else. He loves the Shire and has a strong attachment to the beautiful area we live in.

Carl continues to raise the bar for quality service and prices in residential sales within the Sutherland Shire.

He and the team of professionals working alongside him give clients an even greater advantage when selling.

How long have you worked in the Real Estate Industry?

I have worked in the real estate industry for 4 years, I did a year of study before entering the industry.

What is the most challenging aspect to being a real estate agent?

Switching off from the job.

I want my clients to get the best result possible, so a lot of time I find myself working at night at home.

How do you feel the market within the Sutherland Shire will perform this year, in comparison to 2013?

I believe that the real estate market will continue to perform very strongly in the first half of the year. However I feel that towards the end of the year we will see the market flatten out. I don’t think we will see prices decline. I do feel that apartments will flatten quite significantly as we will be seeing quite a few new developments come to the market creating more supply than demand.

What makes you different to other real estate agents?

I care about my clients and their individual situations. Selling any sort of property will be one of the most important things my clients will do, whether it is an investment property or the family home. I don’t believe that there is another agent that understands the importance of marketing, communication and negotiation, in getting the best result.

Can you outline a “Day in the Life of Carl Robinson”:

I usually wake up at about 5.45am by my  alarm clock called Maya she is 5 years old. If my wife is not working I will leave at 6am to go for a surf or a swim. I get to the office at 8.30am and return emails and get the admin activities out of the way, unless I have an appointment. My morning consists of calling buyers from the open houses until 12 midday. I have lunch usually somewhere in Cronulla. My afternoons consist of calling potential vendors until 5pm. I head out to appointments from 5.30pm to my vendors and listing appointments of properties I might potentially list. I am home anywhere from 7 – 9pm.
