Marty has lived his entire life in the Sutherland Shire. He attended Port Hacking High School and completed his tertiary education at S.I.T. Ultimo.

In 2001 Marty completed and graduated from an Advanced Diploma of Property Valuation at which time he commenced his work at Payne Pacific.

During his time with the company Marty has been a residential property valuer, specialising in the Sutherland Shire, Hurstville, Kogarah, Rockdale, Bankstown and Wollongong.

Marty is a member and player for the Loftus Rovers Soccer Club and a member of St Lukes Anglican Church Miranda, where he also assists in the running of the youth programme.
